the thing is that i can get a t15 or t2 turbo for a bit of cash. a t25 is greet but it cost to muts. i olreddy got the oil and cool lines an a manifold (thanks nismomicra :')they are from his old setup. at the fist time a just wanna go fora N/A setup. but at a tunings meeting. i have seen the micra of nismomicra draging a vw golf vr6 and he won. so i go an talk whit him and before i know i was taking a spin whit him in his micra. the only thing i was thinking of= I WHANT A TURBO SETUB!!!.
t3 is too big, you *could use a GT15 as thier much higher flowing (rated upto 220hp i think) but i wouldn't bother with the T15, best bet is to go a T2 or T25,
T25's are a dime a dozen here in brisbane. All the people who put aftermarket/bigger turbos on their SR20DET's and CA18DET's in their pulsars and silvias try and sell them for like $200 but no-one ever buys them.
Most guys i know of who had them sitting around eventually flogged them off for like $100.
What they have said is true. The T15, even the GT15 are too small.
The T2 is perfectly matched to our engine (ie. it spools up VERY early and holds power through most of the rev range) but there is no room for improvement.
The T25 is the logical choice if you want a nice push in the back with some decent top end and not much lag. If you're that worried about lag see if you can find a GT25 get one (expensive though)
I recommend not to get a cheapie turbo because you'll just be replacing it along with your catalytic converter within 3 months.
oke thanks for the info. i'm going to buy the T2 turbo. It's from a r5 gtturbo. it has run 12.000km but he crashed his car. so i can get it verry cheap.
if i remember correctly 1 bar is 14.7psi so that would be 9.3345psi, with std fuel setup the injectors max out at 4psi, so you need more fuel or the wastegate adjusted down, or maybe put in a bleed valve?
Standard head gasket fine. Hack pulls 7psi on standard gasket. Alex is spot on. If you stay around 4/5 psi you will have enough fuel.
THe limit on the car stock standard is 4/5 psi. After that you need more fuel.If you go to say 7/8 psi put in another injector or fit bigger ones say off the Primera. Even at 7 psi the standard fuel pump is okay as is the standard ECU, head gasket etc.
i have sold my t2 turbo to a r5 turbo diver and i'f bougt a t25 turbo of a nissan 200sx. but the oil lines that i have don't fit the t25 turbo. where to get some oil lines? help please
