Anyone ever mod their steel wheel..was thinking of getting n14 14" steel wheels and mod it up to 14x7is.. fit some low profile rubber kinda deepist looking. Is it possible?

yes its possible but it'll cost you a fortune in Aus.
Not worth it IMO unless you can do all the work yourself and thats if you know what youre doing.
I know a guy off another forum who had his done and cost him something insanely stupid like $300 per wheel to any spec he wanted..
but then sold it off for $1000 with tyres lol..
all that just for 14" steelies..
better off buying aftermarkets
Why steel wheels? there's plenty of decent spec alloys out there that dont weigh a ton like steelies. I thought widened steelies were cool once so I got some 15x8s made up out of R31 skyine spares, fkn 25kg each with tyres!

I found no evidence in that thread to say that steel wheels are lighter than alloys. Unless you came to that conclusion because 13x5" steelies weigh less than 15x7" alloys?
and yes superlites are very heavy, even the race-only GTR versions arent light.
