Hello, I have a k11 in very good condition but I have discovered that part of the body behind the sill in front of the off side back wheel has rusted out from the inside. I seems to be a water trap. Apart from the bottom edge of the sill the sill is ok. I do not seem to be able to find replacement panels so I was thinking that if anyone has a scrap K11 and if they could cut out the required section with an angle grinder I could weld it into place. Your ideas on this would be much appreciated and if anyone can do this for me do please get in touch. Thank you.

Although I have no experience in doing that sort of repair, I think your idea to use the body panel from another K11 to replace the rusted part on your car is good but if it is not available, any similar sheet metal would work as long as you get a tinkerer to shape it like the original - which they do.
These are generally not DIY considering the tinkering, use of power tools and welding involved; later the paint job - unless you are experienced enough in handling such things by yourself!
