I saw this on watchdog last night, its pretty scary really, it seems like Renault are weighing up the cost of a total recall to repair against the cost of the claims for damages made against the company, regardless of the threat to life, it reminds me of the 1970s American Ford fuel tank explosion problem.

Surely renault should recall them all anyway, or no one will have any faith in there cars
