They'd replace the faulty part. Giving out 240 thousand new cars would probably bankrupt the company!

Probably if the car did actually blow up, or somehow the fault resulted in the injury of the person or loss of possession, but no you wouldn't get compensation.

Most of our beat cars were 307's until recently, we've started changing them for focus's but no-one ever liked the 307 anyway, not a patch on the old 306.
