Need to find a replacement Bosch Idle Control Valve sensor

Hi all,

I had a mechanic look at my car, family friend and he said this part is likely the problem (see photos) it's the Bosch Idle control valve part number: 0 280 140 583

He showed me one on eBay and although it looks right the connection type doesn't fit my 2000 plate Nissan Micra.

Is there a replacement that does fit my old car or is it more likely I need to find the connection type of the new one and replace the old connector with a new one for the new sensor?

Can’t see any photos here unfortunately. I would recommend changing the connector if the other part is more easily available.

Had some idling issue with the new 1.4 engine I fitted onto my car while I was reusing my old engine low mileage MAF which I knew was working well, so I tried to clean the IACV part you're referencing by spraying some MAF cleaner through the throttle body (remove all the meshes and find the hole at the bottom back, linked to the IACV) it worked straight at first start!
