I just like to feel more engaged with the car while driving. But it's nice to come across someone who is on the auto side of things...

Understand that, I drove auto's for over 30 years and love them. My missus has a 1.3 auto, pulling away its quick, quick, quick.

Ha, ha, I only drive it occasionally, and that's only 500 yards to Asda. Its the acceleration that's impressive. I drove it home from Torquay after I bought it, and it sits happliy at 70/80 mph. Top end, don't know...never been there in this car.
