there sort of directly behind the front indicators, but you have to remove the bumper really to get them off, but it is possible without

Yeah they're not behind the headlights, but a bit lower down. Removing the bumper as mentioned is the easiest way to get to them

its cool all i had to do is unplug them and feed the wire to my new air horns

are them air horns any good, saw some in halfords and was wondering wether to get them, im not keen on the sound of the standard horn

I also did an air horn upgrade, the bumper stayed on, I just reached up and yanked the wire off.

Sounds a bit rubbish tbh, I wanted the deep lorry sort of sound.

Yeah i nearly bought one, but was after a train horn instead!

Air horns won't pass an MOT, so using the standard horn's wiring probably isn't the best idea - You can't hear them at high speeds either. Just create a new wiring system with relay & switch, only takes 10 minues.

thats what i did, just needed the feed from original horns so that they come on with button. can just plug the originals back in for mot. some tosser in a Pug overtook me today damgerously so i held down the horn for ages and stuck my main beam on grr

It was something i was told when I had mine fitted, although maybe whoever told me was wrong!

do you mean you cant hear air or you cant hear stock?

Air horns. Too much air probably going in the opposite direction for them to be heard in the drivers seat. I tested mine doing about 50 and could barely hear them!

nah i was doing 60 yesterday i could hear them fine, depends where you put them.i've fixed them sideways to the bit of metal at the front of the car by the alternator
