Hi All

Own a 1996 K11 1.0 S, No performance mods as of yet but got Panasonic Headunit with Alpine Subwoofer and Amplifier, Had the drive chain snap on me on Saturday night on the M1, garage wanted a ridiculous amount to fix it so getting a replacement engine tomorrow and its being installed on Saturday!

welcome to the msc! I didnt think the timing chain snapping happens very often so youre very unlucky!

Yeah I know the garage where I took it said they had never ever seen one snap before, its only done 50K! Just towed the car to another garage and picked up a new engine on the way, hopefully by 8PM tomorrow ill be back on the road! Then next project is to put a PC in my car . . .
