Is there any information to hand on the base circle diameter of these cams compared to standard units?

On the website it is quoted at 32 (I assume mm)

All people who have paid should be getting discount now as we have 5 orders :)

10% IIRC, it all depends on what exchange rate Paypal gives us, but i will send everyone copies of the reciepts so that you know that I am not scamming you :)
Should be ordered on Wednesday night :D
Craig

craig have you ordered the cams yet. as i'm getting grief from the mechnics dying to fit them. one off the mechanics has almost finished a 2.ol micra. just the wiring lom left to do. and he's leaving it as standed as possible.
also did you get my money with the reference on it.

Hi, the cams are |-| close to being ordered, all monies have been recieved and you will all most likely be recieving a small refund as there are 5 of us, but I am just waiting for the importer to take the money off me really, I will send everyone a PM when they have been ordered :)
Craig

well the money was finally sent today after HSBC thought i was being credit card frauded and stopped the transaction, apparently Tomei only had 5 sets left and weren't planning on making any more, but how much of that i am not sure i believe.
But it is good news, not only should they be here withing 5 weeks, but everyone should be getting a £65 refund as we managed to get 5 sets ordered :)
Just realised, could everbody PM me there address so that i can forward it on ta

Well actually it wont be £65 as they have yet to add on the postage cost which i was told was about 12,000 Jen, which is actually about 60 quid, sorry to get people's hopes up lol

Ok, it works out cheaper to get all five sets sent to my house, I can then either meet up and give these to people (only Welly is close though I think) or just post them on, looks like people should be getting about £20 back, but I will not know until I have paid etc, hopefully they will be on their way to the UK next week though :)
Craig

Hi,
have not had time to come on lately, basically thry have been in the UK all November but I was not left a 'we are holding a parcel for you card' so only recently knew about where they were, but they are 70 miles away from me and they refuse to move them to a nearer depot due to there being import charges due. I have been phoning the customer enquiries every other day but apparently I could not phone the depot to pay these charges. They have phoned me once but it was credit-card only, I dnt believe in credit-cards so he said that they would phone later when I could be able to use my house-mate's. They never did.
Now I have been told that it has been approved for re-export, I have managed to get it on the intercept list, so hopefully it will not end up on a plane back to Japan. A supervisor is supposed to be phoning me tomorrow so I am,reservedly, awaiting there call. Most likely I will have to miss a day of uni which is really not on. I can send people the tracking number if they wish and hope to have this resolved by the end of the week, I find it ironic that the only problems hae not come when the product was in a foreign ####ry on the other side of the world, but in England, due to the oldest mail service in the wold.
Apologies for the wait,
Craig

Finally spoke to someone helpful today. Apparently it HAS definately been re-exported, so she said to write to the complaints department and that they will likely by sympathetic as no card was left. Hopefully this means taht I won't have to pay to have it re-shipped but only time will tell.
Will keep people updated and apologise for this sorry state of affairs.
Craig

ah crap, so they are back in japan?

they should re import them and send then by air for free....

keep us posted craig, cheers for trying to sort it. :(

well the the royal mail are (deleted for young ears) but you get the drift
thanks for all your time and efforts craig. thanks for the info
just let us know when there likely to be in the country again and when you've got them in your hands.

once again thanks for all you time and efforts.

How did you pay Craig? Did you pay on a credit card? This has happened to me in the past, even had my phone number in the consignment docs and didn't know anything till it arrived back to the sender. I got the credit card company involved and they sorted it out. Didn't get the parts, but got all my money back..................really hope this gets sorted though :)

Paid it through paypal, will have to see what Parcel Force say, hopefully it can be resolved quickly, don't like keeping people waiting so long :(

Phoned up by parcel force the otehr day, said we may have to claim off insurance if we don't hear anything soon so not too plaeased with it really

Well, it might not be going that far, I was phoned up by parcelforce yesterday, said that hte parcel had just been accepted to the internaional hub (in UK) so they should intercept it, she said that the service wasn't 100% effective though so am still waiting to hear from them, funny quote though:
"I have no idea where your parcel has been hiding for 3 weeks" :D
Will phone tomorrow to see what is going on, hopefully won't get fobbed off, but when I know anything for certain I will let people know on here :)
A slightly happier Craig

Well, I have an early Christmas present for you, I picked the cams up yesterday, they look very nice indeed and have that sticky stuff on them so should be inperfect nick, even though they look like they were made a while ago. The come with two stickers (what I was really hoping for :D) and some instructions, I hope that you all read Japenese well.
I was going to wait until after Christmas to post them, but can meet people if they would rather do it that way.
Craig

woohoo!! good to hear craig, no probs sending them after christmas mate its fine for me. prob better less chance of them getting lost again lol

a very happy graeme :upside:

Get some pics of them up, will be interesting to see what the profiles look like.

Will do, am goingto test fit them to my spare engine nex week so we should hae more idea about clearances too

Yeah sure, I am in Watofrd so not to far from you, was hoping to drop them off on my way to uni, but that will not be till the 9th.
Can all the people who have bought these please e-mail me with their addresses at craig_mcguire @#at' lycos. co. uk
and I can sort out postage after christmans
Craig

I am goingto dry fit mine on either weds or tues and will have a better idea by then.
If people have nto done so already, can they please e-mail me their postal addresses, also I have been working out how much it has all come to and I am going to be roughly £100 out of pocket, so if everyone could send me £20 each then that would be lovely. I can provide reciepts if people require :)
Cheers Craig

Even more good news, I test-fitted these yesterday and, most of the valve clearances wiere within the limits, two or three were out, but I am sure that they can be adjusted by moving the shims around the engine, so everyone should be alright.
Also they do look a good lot bigger, the extra duration is really noticable when they are placed side-by-side with the OEM ones :)
Craig

Right, I have everybody's addresses now so these will be sent out recorded either Saturday or Tuesday, depending on how organised I am, Kris will be getting Zoidberg's set to hopefully save on postage.
If people could sort me out the £20 then I would be greatly happy, any problems let me know by e-mail or I can send you my no if you want.
Sorry if it is patronising, but these have to be run in in a certain way, if you do not know this, I can send you the procedure :)
Cheers Craig

Welly, if you want to pick these up this week then I really need to hear from you asap, i mailed you ,my address and phone no, but don't know if you got it or not?
Criag

cheers craig just got the email. won't be able to pick them up till the weekenf though. as i'm now back at the doom and gloom that is WORK. But if your down Brighton/Burgess hill way just let me know. cheers.
p.s. how did the test fit go?

If you could come over either Saturday morning/after 5pm then you could have pick them up then, I am not really very near Brighton, I could meet somewhere on the SOuth Coast if you'd prefer?
Test fit went very well, not perfect but could have been a lot worse, clearances were within tolerances basically.
Let me know, Craig

Erm I got one, you said that you could pay into my account on Saturday?
If that is what it was about then it is fine, I swear that I replied to it, but maybe it didn't send.
I have posted all the cams out today (except Welly's) Special delivery, you apparently WILL have them before 12 tomorrow.
Let me know when they arrive,
Craig
