im watching a 34 ich weber from a land rover on ebay, i understand it will fit a micra.

to fit it are there any modifications i need to make or any adjustment brackets need fitting, or is it a simple job?

cheers

you will have yo down jet the carb (if theyre the same as motorbike carbs) as the jetting size would be like twice the size :p

Ryan.

hi mate the 34 ICH will fit the k10 but requires the correct adapter plate, and you will need to re-jet the carb also, but they give great fuel economy if setup correctly and sound lovely :) personally i felt it made the car alot more responsive but power gains are not really proven. id recommend changing the inlt manifold to something with better airfolw to get some extra power ;)

cheers that'll be great, and if anyone could tell me what and where i can get an adaptor plate from that;ll be magic!

should be able to knock one up yourself mate from some alloy bar. / plate.

IIRC the weber one is only about 3/8" thick with a few holes and threads in it.

still havent dug out the jet sizes yet, building a fence at home which is taking up all of my precious garage time :(

will post up when i get them.

hi mate weber provide the plate as part of there 34ich kit, all i can suggest is either have one made up or contact weber directly to send out one should cost much either way :)

You need to be an official member to sell on the MSC. Please read the stickies

jet sizes for a 1.2 are 150 main 180 air and pump jet around 55 and yes you can use any 34ich but you will have to make an adapter plate up like i did
