Gear Box Mounts

my rear mount on the engine has gone

does the figaro / st one fit and would it be uprated?

An ST and fig should both fit.

The ST are significantly stronger than the K10- ones. ST are about 3x thicker metal.

hmm might be worth it then as mine is currently pulling itself out of gear when i lift off

figaro specialist should be able to get you some, nissan prob can do but you'll have to really hastle them

if i recall I fitted a 3rd party copy from my local motorparts dude when my original one crumbled... it was around £30 i think

Im sure someone on here, said the rear mount really didnt do much! Also, the thread title says Gear Box mounts, and they're two different mounts...

the rear engine mount is on the gear box

Is it? then in that case i'l let you off I thought you were on about the one thats attached to the side of the gearbox, near the clutch cable.

no the one at the back under the carb

Yeah i worked that out when i said i had that one replaced

i got 2 replace mine yet mine has gone complety but it would cost £51+vat from nissan

the rear mount does the most work, and they are quite weak actually. the front and o/s mount are engine, the n/s is gearbox, and the rear bolts to the block and gearbox
