GCSE Certificates

I can't find them!
Anyone else had this problem, I've got an interview on Thurdsday and I can't find them anywhere! grr

I've never had to show a single certificate!

GCSE's, AS Level, GNVQ, I reckon I could of blagged a degree, no one ever seems to check them!

nope, i have kept them all in the record of achievement folder along with other certificates. i guess the only thing you could do is to give your school's details as a reference so they could call up to confirm your results.

I've never had to show mine before either. If they're listed on your CV, that should be good enough. They can always follow it up if it matters that much to them.

its cool anyway i found the original slips of paper bundled up in some old college work. Can't actually recall seeing certificates ever...not sure if i even collected them!

if you loose them and want another set, you have to go back to the govering board for the exam and pay around 57quid a cert!!

I only got two D's in science (no course work!) due to health issues and I'm kicking my self for that. Taking a BTEC in Music/Media whilst working towards a job as a sound/light engineer (apprentice). Considering the vast drop in the difficulty in GCSE's, I'm actually starting to think them more and more worthless...Unless it's a matter of proving "dedication."

I could have got any of my jobs without GCSEs, currently about a third of a way through a Higher National Certificate (HNC), my previous qualifications have got me nothing!!!

My gcse's got me into college to do my a levels, my a-levels got me into uni, my degree got me into my job to start my chartership, my chartership means in the long run I could possibly earn more than my doctor girlfriend.

GSCE's may in themselves not really be worth much but learning is an ongoing thing, a gcse may only be a taster into a subject area you might want to follow up with an nvq or a-level.

i could probably have got away without finding the proof but not work hastle or risk. Every qualification is pretty much just the step to the next one!
