fuel control valve

Hello !
Does enybody know how many volts the Fuel control should have 12V ??
Is that a constant powe supply or is it a signal from any 'computer box' somewere.
Is it possible to take a voltmeter and messuring the Ohm in fuelcontrol and in that way see if it's ok.??
I think i have problem with fuelcontrol and be happy for some help.

I have a K10 -87 ma10. And runs very bad under 3000 rpm wen driving.
Idle is ok and start ok. What could it be?? Not getting fuel?? Ignition??

The fuel pump is mechanical it doesnt have any voltage going to it. First of all change all the servicable ignition components Including the coil, that should help.

Hello again !

I whas not clear in my explonation. I mean the Anti dieseling control valve.
I think i would hear a 'clicking ig it's ok when conected to supply but i dont know if i can giv it 12v direct from battery. The mecanical fuel pump is ok.
I did find a meintance and service manual at the internet now and think i got it right. Thank's anyway
