fitting a turbonator

Hi could anyone tell me if anyone has fitted a turbonator to a 988cc k10? and if so did it do anything, and how I how I could fit one or should I bother. I can get one of ebay for £15.

its like star shape blade which goes in yout irbox, the cold air hits it and spinds round lol i will get a pic if i remember!!

It will cause a loss in power. If somone can explain why putting something in the way increases air flow feel free, I say its not possible

Carb trumpets sometimes have a smaller cross section than a free pipe, but increase air flow at certain velocities... (you did ask...).

I should imagine there was a difference in the civic, and that was a loss of power.

Its not at simple as that, the trumpets are tuned and relies on the pulse charge effect to improve cylindar filling. (also affected by the exhaust design) This is way off what were talking about here as its hardly comparable to a bent coke can stuck in the path of the intake air of a stock carb!
