anyone on here into the age old sport of fishing?

if so, cousre? fly or sea?

I use to do Course fishing up at knott hill res and roman lakes althought that would have been 10 years ago...

Also been sea fishing on holiday.

Used to fish alot as a kid, weren't fun back then, weren't into the relaxing thing, I'd give it a go again now but theres always something more important i could be doing!

Yea, I love fishing. I got a friend who owns a lake so we take the kit over there. Last time we went we spent the whole day drinking and catching fatty carp. Rounded the day off with a barbie. Gotta make the most of having no work to do

Ha ha u lot, i haven't been for a while, but as i have a river at the bottom of my garden i don't need a license!!!!

Use to go a lot, the only fish i haven't managed to reel in is the pike, that's only coz the rod wasn't set up for it tho and it kept snapping the line. Have had a few nice size carp, some big perch and of course loads of roach!!!

Used to go coarse fishing alot and won a few of the junior matches for my local club. Haven't been for a year or so now but want to get back into it. Its a nice escape from the madness of life at times lol.

24quid for a license...... well bend me over thats getting steep still i wouldnt mind getting me one so i can get back into it

when i was 14/15 me and a friend spent every saturday and sunday on rochdale canal catching every single pike in there, 13 in 1 day was our record none over 7pound tho..... the older lads used to catch the bigger ones and leave them hanging in trees dead, yes we used livebait small skimmers seemed best on there
