favorite sandwich

whats your favorite, self made sandwich. what do you just throw on a sandwich?

Mines, cheese spread, salad cream or mayo and prawn cocktail crisps! ;)
 
If im just throwing it together then usually left over meat from a roast, or if im putting effort into it, then a chicken and bacon club with avocado. :love:


Now im hungry...
 
love chicken from the roast but i really love home made egg and bacon but with rashers instead of fannying on with stupud bits n bobs

Subway Club: Turkey Breast, Ham, Beef with Lettuce, Cucumber, Sweetcorn and Sweet Onion Dressing. Gorgeous!!!
 
lately i have got a george foreman grill and i put two breads in there some cheese and chilli sauce and let it smelt and toast....
 
cheese, tartar sorce and lettuse...... bloody hell i can't spell for ####! lol :D
 
tomato cut up with italian mixed herbs and olive oil on a chiabata with pesto!! take abit to prep but god its sweet!!

love tomato salad!

Everytime i've been to subway the rolls have been too dry and the food generally a bit minkish, if its sandwich bars its gotta be a Traditional with extra bacon and extra guacamole (sp?) from Quizno's :laugh:
 
after reading this i made a sandwich.

white bread, krispy lettuce, juicy tomatoes and succulent cheese topped with low fat salad cream, it was rather delightful i would say.

i class this as a sandwich - Bacon, French bread, Cheese, brown sauce and red sauce

Grill Bacon, While waiting for bacon cut the french bread in half horizonatly and grate cheese. Butter (heavy) bread and drizzle with brown sauce, place bacon straight onto bread (brown sauce side) and sprinkle cheese over the bacon (this has to be done ultra quick - you may decide to pop all that back under the grill to melt) then drizzle red sauce on top half of bread and place the two together - ENJOY

cos im not a very good cook...well I can make a few things spagetti bol, mince and dumplings potnoodles :p

well i suppose i wouldnt be to bad if i actually tried as I got a C in gcse food tech lol
 
i got an A for GCSE food tech and dunno how. we spent most of the lessons throwing stuff at each other. ah memories.

I've had lemon curd, honey and prawn cocktail crisps on a butter - was so so tastey!
 
I fancied a chicken and stuffing sandwich yesterday! - sounds nice imo but ems said it sounded disgusting, but had a roast instead!! Much nicer :)

...I forgot my lunch today! :(

Not only that... the sandwich guy came, and I'm skint till Friday!

Favourite sandwhich: Whitebread, layer of mayo, chicken, salad, more chicken, another layer of mayo then topped off with more bread... outsiders please! Then to make it a "Mans" sandwhich... it's got to have the odd oily finger print on it! :D

FORGET YOUR SANDWHICH'S!

Haha... Yesterday I was staving to death, right?

So I came up with a budget idea since I have a £1 to do my till friday and working 12 hours shifts...

Check this out: My Shopping bag:

- 5 packets 8p noodles from Tesco
- 1 box of 5 Cup 'a' soups at 28p from Tesco

I combined them together after my first packet of noodles as it tastes like cardboard - what do you expect for 8p?

So HENSE FORTH: I will be eating my new invention: SOUP 'A' NOODLE! :laugh:

Fanbloodytastic they are! :D
