I have a 1L 2002 k11 and and need to replace the middle section of my exhaust with the silencer on it but would like to get rid of it i am seeing online that the section of exhaust for the older version of the car dosent have it on but it says its not compatible for my car and was wondering if this was true or i can just use it and it will go on good.

Im pretty sure you can swap those parts as most parts from the Micra exhaust where kept the same through the years.
In the prefacelift models you had a second cat and then 2 tube option (one straight tube until the rear silencer and another one with a small suppressor in line)
Don´t know how its on your years cause im sure they change from 2 cats to only one at the front (slighty longer cat).
I am pretty sure that to accomodate the cat size change they only modified the exhaust part that goes to from the primary cat to second cat/suppressor(20010 on the image below).
Only thing i am not sure is if the facelifts had a extra silencer/suppresor or something where the 2nd cat used to be.
