Drivers side - looks like you just need to knock out a pin through the length of the handle to replace it.

Does that mean I require more than just the door handle/catch - thought it looked a straighforward thing too replace without removing door panels.

These door handles seem too flimsy for the job.

no you just need the door handle, like Goldstar says, remove the door card and the handle is 2 10mm nuts, easy to do, my 11 year old stripped my doors down. (ahh slavery, a British institution) :laugh:

It's a fairly easy DIY job, you remove the internal door handle and other pieces and the card pops off (take care not to break it).

You then then need to unhook the handle rod and simply replace the handle and reverse what you did.

I sent Gemma some pics of how the rod connects to the lock in case you have trouble there.

ahh just looked at this thread...yeh I had a drivers side 1 never mind eh! good luck in fitting I had trouble as the pin kept dropping out of its hole and its fidelly and I have no patience the ex boyfriend had to do it for me

It's not part of MOT test, as long as you have one manual entrance to car, so any door inc boot counts
