998 K10 rocker box removal

Correct me if I'm wrong here: The rocker box should simply remove after removing the two hex nuts on top or is there some knack to it? I'm starting to think one of the previous owners has used the god awful instant gasket (aka Silicone Sealer) so it's stuck solid.

Let me know if there's a knack please

airbox off, 2 nuts off then remove oil filler cap and lift using hole

I was told they might need a bit of a wack if they've never been removed before.

Ok gonna give it a wack tomorrow. As everything else surrounding it has been removed so out comes the hammer (nearly as good as the gas axe)

nearly, but not quite :laugh:

If its alloy, plasma arc cutters are also good for venting anger- but theres nothing like the feel of a gas axe
