2 litre nova! £800

Still listed as a 1.4 on the log book, up to new owner to change if required...

Hence £800! ono

Any reason why? If you've been driving it and know how fast it is, surely you should have had that changed for insurance purposes?

i insured it as a 2.0 litre! im a prison officer i should no the risks etc! i recived the log book about 2 months after having the car and i only drove it for 1 of those months

Would that not invalidate you're insurance though, if the logbook says it's something it's not but the insurance says otherwise?

according to dvla, insurance company no! aslong as i insured it as it was i.e 2 l;itre, exhaust, airfilter, cams, chipped etc

just so everybody doesnt think im a young reprobate, i can ensure all of you that both me and my cars are all above board! and would not attempt to break the law or invalidate my insurance by not declaring my 'mods'! which i would encourage anybody who has got modifications, to declare them as and when the changes have bin made to the car! by the way my insurance also cost me in the region of £2400 for this nova!

thanks

if I had a spare £800 kicking about then perhaps, always had a soft spot but your not likely to find many people who think like that. You tried fleabay?

as far as I know it is not against the forum rules for me to say this:

It is illegal to drive a car that is not correctly registered with the dvla. I am not saying this car is not correctly registered, just pointing out that the dvla will be expecting tax on a 1.4 when you should be paying tax on a 2.0
