I have low milage 88 micra k10 whichs jerks while accelarating in the lower gears. Feels like something is choking the gas or air. Any ideas would help
Thanks John

from tesco or morrisons lol?

i only use Shell. dunno why, all my mates say "petrols all the same" clearly it isnt lol lol. i find shell better than BP aswell.

You don't say if your car is auto or manual ? it could also be one of the brakes releasing. If auto could mean the gearbox needs servicing.

K10's arent effected by dodgey fuel so you can rule that out completely

When's the last time you gave it a service? and what was changed,

sevice my bro in law's k10 when he bought it as it was doing what you say...

a good service did the trick, smooth ride now...

oil, oil filter, sparxx, air filter, magictree etc...

PS: Arnold, the bad fuel does it effect k11's at all? and why does it not effect k10's im not 100% on the issue... and i did top up at Tesco's yesterday... BP is my regular fuel...

The fuel issue was related to effecting oxygen sensors, effecting the ECU and messing up how the car works

The K10 doesnt have a oxygen sensor, it doesnt even have an ECU! Therefore there's nothing electrical to go wrong.

Cheers

thanks Arnie... so there is a chance it could effect my car... better dump the fuel lol...

BTW LOL at thread title... thought it was some US member saying check my car out and calling us all Jerks...lol...

k11 and k12 will be affected.

As far as the magic tree is concerned it is highly important you do no remove all of the plastic instead pull down a bit otherwise the smell will get too much and may affect the performance of the car (or brain)!
