If it's from Japan, they are heavy for carbon bonnets, (circa 7kgs v's around 12kgs for a standard bonnet). Not sure why they are so heavy, perhaps it's a legality thing. You'd be better off saving the same mass or more with a race battery and have plenty $$'s left over.

You must have a very specific cam choice in mind I assume. Compression that high can lead to more problems than benefits and could actually make less power than with something safer like 12:1.

Bonnet weights depend on the spec really. Typical Carbon bonnets that I have seen in Japan come in around 7kgs but these have all OEM hinge fixings included as well as a bonnet catch and probably have some legal requirements there. Many I have seen here in the UK will not have the front hinge...
