This might be a stupid question, but how does changing the exhaust manifold change the consumption of fuel? Is it just because it's a smoother flow of exhaust therefore it's easier for the engine to burn then spit stuff out? I never really got in great detail why different exhausts gave...

If I can grab this flywheel off frank, I'm sure to stand a slightly better chance. :p Anyone know the effect of a lightened flywheel when declared on insurance? :D P.S. I think I'm definately going. Need something to amuse my self!

Do you guys take into consideration the "specifications" for the tightness of the nuts/bolts through out the engine? I.e. the Rocker cover nuts are 2.2ftlb to 3.6ftlb. Or do you just tighten it till it feels right?

Considering it. Route planners say 3 hours 15 minutes for lowest milage, but that's assuming speed limits. 2 hours 50 minutes for motorway driving. Car will probably be all default at that point...Unless I get a seperate flywheel skimmed and fitted!

Just rang Twigworth and they've not got any K10s in, so I'm on the look out for a flywheel and some door cards. Out of curiousity I asked the guy about a pair of MR2 mk1 seats...£120! Crazy. So...Flywheel anyone? ;)
