good price for the repair that :) 2mm does sound a lot (had to change it to old money to visualise lol) but I'm sure if you have say 20 thou lopped off instead of a minimal skim it will do it no harm :) sorry just realised to put that into perspective- 1.5mm = about 60 thou

i cant see the pics, but it'd have to be pretty bad for it not to be repairable- i've seen a few bad n's cut, welded and repaired recently. depending how much work is needed and what type of alloys they are, a new one could be even cheaper than a repair tho. hope you sort it soon

i would assume that weber dont make it "anymore" as they used to do a direct replacement for the K10. thats why people like bob have to sort out making their own :)

i did a 0-60 run on a very optomistic g-tech meter once, in my bog standard ma10. pretty useless thing to say though, as i can't for the life of me remember what the hell I got :down: good work sammo- thats quite a difference :)

amen to that. for the small cost of a valve spring compressor it really isnt worth the effort of using a socket. The compressor will make removal easier and "more controlled" too.
