I have a turbo some place off a 1.6 td golf,its huge :p i can get one off a 1.9 tdi passat engine as well would be a better turbo i reckon,id like to give this a try before the years out

did you get it mapped when you had it? . I have ga14 injectors a 1.0 engine on the ground as a spare,i can get a turbo off something small and make a mani?,has anyone put a turbo off a diesel car onto a micra?or would it be able for the heat and high rpm?

Well if in gear but not moving it still does it, il have to give it a good check and see if it rattles while in gear at idle with one wheel off the ground

is there a spigot shaft bearing in a f/l cg10 g/b?

so if i searched for a turbo off something small .a CT9 (iirc) off a starlet and threw it at a 1litre for a daily car :laugh: It should be relaible if done correctly

so if you kept away from the high boos it could have been ok? :laugh:,,where the internals completly stock?

how would the 1.0 pistons hold up with a turbo? how strong are they? although ive never heard any 1.0 micra pistons give trouble :wasntme:

my gearbox on ticker over while not touching the clutch makes no noise, when i press down the clutch it rattles like mad,doesnt seem to be the release bearing because you can feel it if you hold your hand on the g/b,anyone heard of this?the sound goes after a drive,so im guessing it goes when...

i have a gear problem as well, started the micra today 98 1.0 and let it defrost,,hopped in foot on the clutch went for first and wouldnt go in tried all gears and wouldnt go, reverse jus gave a grind,turned the car off put it in first,, foot on the clutch turned the key and it hopped forward,im...
