The proffesional toolboxes are alright, but apart from that, the rest of it wouldn't stand up if you were in the trade. From what I've seen, only Snap on and Mac stand up to that level of usage, and even the snap on stuff will get replaced from time to time.

Tried fitting some Borbet T's to the micra today. Mixed results, but to put it bluntley, they're not on anymore. To give an idea, these are 16x7 on the front, and 16x9 on the rear. After putting some M10 bolts upfront to add some camber, and rolling the arches a bit, the fronts fitted...

When you actually brake, can you feel them sticking at all?

Long shot, and you've probably looked at it, but is there any protrusion of metal from the snapped bolt above the head? IE, being able to grip with some pliers or anything, even if it's a struggle.

Cast iron block innit? Considering the work and extra weight you'd have to go through to get a 1.4 in there, for very minimal power gains (although far greater modding capaility) it's not worth if over a 1.3.
