matiz set up bit of help?

how do i lower spring perch on matiz struts? for a lower drop?

Cut the perch of and weld it further down, obviously you have too remove the spring first, then very carefully grind down the old perch weld.

Just cut them in half!

I'm running the matiz setup on cut springs. As long as the spring is captive, don't have much to worry about.

Dropping the perch is dead easy on them, and like davey said, remove or hold the spring with a clamp first else you,ll jump out your skin when the welds let go.
And i eventually welded the perches down, but they sit at the bottom ok anyway

There,s a pic of the 3 matiz legs on my ,another n/a project page 2, blog on cisco,s eh (stock one at the top, cut spring one in the middle, and lowered perch one at the bottom)

whats the max amount of coils i can cut off? fronts and rears as i want it low but also nice and level alround

I've done 2 on mine. I think 3 is max on all as the are to short then and won't stay captive

Yep matiz strut and spring, still soft-ish tho
