Unfortunately, if it turns out that he really isn't legit, you don't really have any way of getting your cash back.

When things like this happen it makes me wonder if MSC could set up an escrow account for the club... purchases pay into the account with a reference to what they have bought & sold & when goods are received the cash is sent onto the seller

Unfortunately you'd find that pretty difficult. IP addresses only give a rough idea of location, you'd have to ask the ISP to disclose their actual address. Which they won't do.

Please PM Kev so we can persue this matter.
