hi all, i know this is a bit of a dead end attempt but its worth a try,

i am all the way in sweden so helping directly is difficult, but if anyone needs any help with anything or need anything modded or fixed, not just cars but computers and other electronics or anything like that and is willing to hand over a bit of cash then let me know

i am coming back to the uk in about 4 weeks for a holiday and i need money bad

sorry the miles on the digital clocks are stored in the ECU but i can do the mecanical ones easy enough

hmmm interesting. well i assume they will have some kind of eprom or flash memory otherwise the would forget when the battery was disconnected. it would probably be possible to reset it to 0 but not change it to an actual number. i would have to get a set and have a play with it. but anything is possible in theory

have you identifed which chip it is? if you know which one it is maybe you could get me a serial number for it? then i can look it up and see if i can get the pinouts, might not be too hard to change it or even glitch it so it says micra

cool, sounds like a fun project i have just been working with flash chips and memory allocation etc so its all freash in my mind

if its a standard flash chip that should be really easy to do, but it might be a read only chip which just counts up, but still it should be possible to feed it a false signal at a very high speed and get it to loop round.

i am happy to do some web stuff if you like, do you have a rough idea of what you want doing? i am not so good with PHP or flash, but i can do graphics and html etc.

btw i will be brining some more Dave's insanity sauce to JAE this year

thats cool sounds easy enough,

there is a shop in Gothenburg, sells all the hot sauces i will have to see what is the top sauce! apparenty if you want hot its not a sauce but these little chilli crystals, you buy them in small packets and mix them in to stuff, i will see if they have any

thanks thats a really awesome deal, but actually its all sorted, going to catch the plane to glasgow, travel down to the lakedistrict and stay there, then down to longleat in wiltshire and then over to stanstead airport home
