no speed limits

i think we need speedlimits sometimes, like when the schools are cuming out, near hospitals and suff like that. to be honest i think its fine he way it is, if you want to drive fast, go find a good back road. or get up to a track day.
I do think it would be a lot more dangerous though, people get ran over all the time and some do live, but if the speed limits got dropped im sure alot of them wouldnt.
I love driving fast but we cant always roar about at 90! lol

it would be terriable lol...i know people who have just passed thee test and seed all the time and havent got engough experiance to be doing it...they just dont seem in control...hence why i dont go out with them in there cars, because iam always on edge and dont trust them to drive safe!
think if all the speed limits where gone, people like the above would end up killing themself's or others!
dont get me wrong iam all up for haveing a quick thrill of putting my right foot down, but i seriuosly wouldnt be on the road if there where no speed limits.
no limits would be goood on certain parts of motorways...like the autobhhan...

If everyone knew how to drive safely, then there'd be no need for speed limits. But we have a test that just teaches you to drive round a housing estate, do a 3 point turn and drive back, therefore unleashing hundreds of un trained un prepared drivers onto the road.
Theoretically, if a road is straight and flat, with no hazards, you could go as fast as you want, and it'd be safe, but there aren't many roads like that here.

I used to agree with that but after crashing on the motorway myself, i'd say that's probably not a good idea anymore.

If every driver was thinking the same way it wouldn't be so bad, all the old people are off their faces on prescription drugs, the day after the night before drivers who are still half Drunk, then there's the other drivers who are Coke and Pot heads, the drivers who look at the road and nothing else around them, pedestrians who can't be bothered to look both ways when crossing the road and generally anyone else who's left that doesn't give a fig.....better keep them.
totally agree, it just cant be done because people don't seem to understand WHY you don't rag it past a primary school, or why you slow down for blind corners etc,

but i love the idea of people who are careless and dangerous, died because of it, without taking anyone else with them.
