Weighing the weight on each wheel?

Is there anywhere that you can take your car and measure the weight distribution across the 4 wheels? I'm trying to find a second hand alloy for my car and strip the interior and fabricate a mount for it. The spacesaver wheel's a drag and it would be nice to mount a proper spare where it helps to equalise the weight distribtuion of the car :).

Just dreaming at the moment but it would be nice :).

At a guess the rear will be at least 100kg lighter than the front, and even more so with seats and trim removed, so as far back as possible, in reality a wheel isn't going to make a real difference

Lol, guess that's true at, what, 15kg for the whole thing  ?

I got hold of a full sized wheel as a spare, fits in the hole but sticks up quite a bit. How was it done as I see it was an option to have a full sized spare?

That sounds cool Daren, I don't use the boot really so that'll do nicely :). Still waiting to hear from the automatic scrappy hotline to try and find a wheel .

I got mine off of ebay the seller surplus_to_requirements2 had 10! £85 delivered in good nick with an excellent tyre on it. May be worth mailing them though they dont have anything on ebay at the moment.
