Depending on how handy you ae with a welder, id recommend getting a cheap adjustable brace for a nova (Ebay). Chop the plates off each end, rotate so they don’t touch any thing the window wiper motor.Re-weld them so it fits and drill new holes. Paint/powder coat it and looks as good as new.
Some people have said the nova brace will fit straight on, in my case it didnt, hence the above. I think i paid £34 for the brace. I will get a picture on here when i get home.
You can make most K&Ns fit with in reason, a bit a work to make it fit but nothing too hard. I think mine was from an old Escort. Will get pics later.
Shocks - Just get some new gas shocks, makes the world of difference. Depending how far you want to go, the lowing springs make it go round corners like a go-kart. But there is a downside, you’ll feel every bump and pot hole. Not great when just pottering around town.
