Yeah no bother. Im sure its a sony. He is selling the amp, a 10" sub and the housing for that which is also carpeted. Would you be interested in it all or just the sub? How much money do you have to spend too?
I spoke to me lecturer. Its a Sony XM 502X Stereo amplifier with filters and eq controls. You can have it for £40 + p&p if you want. Sorry dont know the power output of it though, but he said it was good.
That amp producing those peak and rms figures will NOT run a 500w rms sub.
If he had the amp powering a very lowered sub that was about 100w rms then yes in theory it could used for that purpose, however it's main use is a stereo amp and not for driving subs.
I don't believe it's the 400w rms stated, but it should be too much for that amp to power it. But yes you could use the amp here and yes it will make the sub move, just don't expect much from it
