does anyone know how long it takes for the appointment to arrive through the post,from when you apply to appointment date?
i read its a few days quiker through the online form?
is it mandatory? as i think its only for log book after accident notification,,,,,any info if youve been through this appreciated

mine came through in about 3 weeks iirc, and its mandatory to check you hav,nt rung it eh

so while thats going on cant tax? cannot sorn? ,its off rd though
done mot other day passed ok,,,could have taxed today if the previos taxation class wasnt disabled(free tax £0.00),,, but as ive got to change that too posty cant do nothing

so just to give people a look in on these situations,,,,,
1--- you can type your registration number in the .gov site and it'll show if you need a v-i-c
2--- this is mandatory if you want a log book or your buying a car thats v-i-c'd you wont be sent a log book till this test is done,,,,,,,,MY dilema was no tax,,this is taken care of by visiting a dvla local office ,filling two forms out handing the new owners slip in = taxed
3--- dvla will change you over as the new registerd keeper on computer but no log book till vic done
