timing belt ??

i just got k10 and it said it had it done at 64,000 miles it is now 81,000 but i dont no the time of the replacment and was wondering if it would perrish over time and if so any idear of time

Just change it. You cannot guess at this do it and then sit happy in the knowledge that it will be no issue!

the nissin micra service i think recomends 55 or 45, i think it used to be 60 but there went 5 before that, god knows if mine needs doing but i think my is safe, clock says 87 so it has had to be done before that

Yeh you'd be better off changing it for piece of mind...Its not that hard to change either if you have a haynes manual and the right tools, the water pump might be worth changing as well as its only 5 more nuts to change...

If you're going to wait until next year take off the Cambelt cover and check to see if it has any Splits, Tears, Shredding or Damaged Teeth.
