Have you checked for a spark yet? Just pull a spark plug and lay it on top an earth. If you have spark then your mostly there!
Mine had spark but wouldn't fire and it had air lock in the fuel line. Once it had fuel it fired up.
The one way valve needs to be connected to the inlet manifold
