HERE: to get your results! :) http://www.speedtest.net/ Happy testing.

On my laptop i get roughly 60 dl and like 20ul (with virgin fibre optic)
On my phone its like 25dl... No idea about Uploads though

Figured I'd test my phones speed too... no wifi, straight over 3G or whatever you call it nowadays.

I used to have 50 down 12 up... Miss those times. Have like nothing now :(

signature...please ignore anything I say...when using my phone it is either bad grammar or rubbish spelling.

..and this is the fastest phone ones I've got so far (proves that T-Mobile is faster than Orange):

Same network. Differences is probably down to the phone. Average I'd say they were the same.

Glad I went with 3 and not EE!

Is this over Wi-Fi and have you tried through a cable?

I get 38 down and 10 up, and about half that over Wireless

Not the same network, my data speeds have been consistently poorer on "Oranges" old network when compared to TMobile.

The fact they both appear as EE doesn't matter, they are still two separate networks.

I tend to stick to downloading things at work, as it now speedtest's higher than this when we're not hammering the line, and we've got two of these fibre lines :p

At home it's a little more broken/underwhelming, usually ranges between 10Mb/s (what we pay for) and 0.02, (when they're fudging me about), however a couple weeks back something very odd happened and I now get 3x the speed I pay for.... sshh, nobody tell them!
