Spacers affect on handling.

Littlewood

Here comes the BOOM!
Would spacers, not massive (I'm thinking 30mm as an absolute max) have a negative affect on handling?

Front spacers would make steering heavier by effectively lengthening the control arm, yes?

No, the control arm would be the same length as it only goes as far as the hub. It'd just be like having slightly wider wheels on the front which makes it handle better if anything cos the centre of gravity would be very slightly lowered

cant comment on K10 but as its similar to the K11, i'll put my 2p worth in :) The standard offset iirc is +42 or something. Now mine up front is -15 and -1 neg camber tbh the steering is maybe a little heavier but nothing major (though ive just gone from stock steelies to these wheels and id guess it depends on wheel weight, wheel width etc) and ive got perfect handling no wheel wobble or anything like that. As i had a low offset wheel anyway ive still got some wheel on the backside of the bearings, which is probably helping though.

they cant stick outside of your arch as they can catch people and get dragged under tha car if they have baggy clothing on so if they stick out of the arch then get some over fenders put on
