Thanks for the welcome. It's a 1.0 actually. I'm stunned by how rust-free it is. I can't see any obvious rust at all. I'm guessing the old boy kept it in a garage.

One other thing - the accelerator pedal has about one centimetre of 'give' before the throttle engages. Is this usual on Micras?
