** Reverse Light stopped working please help**

hey there,

my reverse lights has suddenly stopped working and i have no idea (k11 L reg), everything else works fine. bloke in garage said its some switch box that will cost around £50 but i dont trust him. can anyone shed some light. cheers

You don't need one for MOT so there is no necessity to fix it.

Could be a bulb, fuse, switch who knows.

get the connector of the switch in the gearbox and bridge it with a paper clip and see if the reverse light comes on, if it does then the switch is at fault if it doesnt change the reverse light bulb

check the bulbs and bulb wiring first...
and all fuses to be sure...
