Hello, I have a micra K11 year 2000, 120 000 km on the clock.
When the car is cold, it starts with no problem; if I do some km and turn it off and immediately turn it on, again, no problem...But if i wait half an hour and then try to start it, it takes 3-5 seconds and i can hear the starter motor trying hard. And when the climate it's hot, it gets worst!
We changed candles and starter motor, but nothing changed!
I'm afraid in the long run, this is going to kill my new starter motor. Especially because I use my car for work, with frequent starts and stop.
According to the mechanic it could be the distributor. Mine reads the number: 22100 74B00 but I can't seem to find it online...
Is there some sort of compatibility between the 74B00 and other numbers?
And I also found some distributors but without cable attached (i think those are the coils), can I use my old ones?
Thank you in advance to anyone who'll try to help me!
Edit: i found one for 120€ but it has the 22100-99B04 number. Can it work?
