that sounds very impressive, yet i have a bugging feeling in me, that thinks this may not be a good idea......but im sure years and years will go into this technology with test after test after test....although with the tests completed and to 100% etc.....what is there to say that 5years of the equipement being used causes a failure?? just like everything else? ok a service at volvo to re-fit new sensors etc but............well........i dont know!!!!!!!! just sounds to advanced although nissan have the "driver alert" technology being produced (for alcohol, sleep etc)????

awesome stuff! Volvo have always been good at saftey innovation, hopefully these new age super safe cars will mean cheaper insurance for us all, but i doubt it

I like there ideas, but all unnecessary. Would we really need this technology if bad drivers were on the roads? Driving standards need to improve and the roads will be a better place.

I wouldn't drive one, a car that steers for you? What if that went wrong?
Everytime a bug hit one of the sensors you'd be all over the road.

im not sure it will but i have nothing todo with insurance. a survey was produced stating that newer cars with technology made the drives less aware of road conditions!!!! so these news cars.......ummm......well says it all really!!! therefore we wont actually have todo anything, except steer in towns (where no white lines)!!!! and drivers will think the car will help them stop :down: ........some people will still drive these as they would a normal cars without all this saftey stufff....yet i bet....some will drive it thinking its perfect.....cause the guy int the showroom said all these wonderful points!!!!!!!

thats a bloody good point actually! the cause needs to be address instead of finding solutions to problems thta should be there in the first place
