well the sooner GM goes bust the better it will be for the rest of the world.
get rid of Cheverolet (crap gas guzling plastic bodied tractor), buik (cheap and nasty car driven by 70year old+ florida retirees), cadilac (much the same as buik so why have two seperate brands in the same market? remind you of British Leyland?), gmc (HUUUGE 4x4 suv's with 0% modern technology and diesel engines that emit so much smoke you could single handedly block out the sun), hummer (need i say more?) pontiac (was crap in the 80's.... is crap now) saab (was good in the 80's and 90's... is now just a vauxhall vectra, shame) and saturn (yes that right you too can have a ....erm... what do they make again?)
i hope vauxhall/opel/holden can be pulled away from GM and be an independant as the cars they produce have NOTHING to do with america. and they are actualy good cars. much like Ford uk has sod all to do with Ford US. (america doesnt get the puma, Escort, Sierra, Granada, Fiesta, Capri, Ka, Mondeo, transit, RS200, RS2000, RS500 etc etc)
