To be fair he's very well of and if he lives fairly central or on a decent tube line there's no need to own a car in London. So they might as well offered him a mazda 2... I mean ford fiesta.

why bother, if he wants to head out of town he can just pop to the local dealership, pick one up and drive it from lands end to john-o-groats if he pleases..

my guess is he doesnt want the hassle of being stuck in trafic and recognised and hassled by Joe Public - plus he doesnt have to pay tax or insurance if he doesnt own it, because if he borrows it direct from Aston Martin he'll be put on tempory company cover... smart man imo
