performance an sound , can it be done with diesel

my micra diesel is lowered 60mm , wolfrace split rims 17incc, 205x40 tyres , K-N filter power diesel box , now 115bhp and inough touqe to pull a train, but its sounds **** , are peformance exhausts on diesels just cosmetic or can you get one that make a sound like a car not a hamster running in its wheel. thanks

Often wondered that myself mate, I've got the dCi 86 model .

I rang a exhaust garage at notts , an he said to me come on down and let me look , mabye he could alter the sound, but im not sure i dont want it loud, just hear it rev like the power it now has.

My mate had a full stainless system made for his diesel pug, the company that made it said it would be a waste of time because of the limited rev range of the diesel (something about gas speeds etc etc) but my mate went ahead and they where right. It sounds pretty much the same but does look nicer

Thats what i think , my micra goes like a hot hatch but sounds like ?????????WELL NOTHING REALLY . you would think with lower reves they would sound like a american bubbleing muscle car
