does any1 no of anything you can do to give some extra oomph to my 1.0 super. i'm gettin bored wif the 1.0 too slow. i've tried fiddlin with the spark timing and the fuel mixture but it seems to make no differnece (apart from drinkin fuel lol) really i'd like to be able to get up a semi steep hill doin 60mph in forth gear without havin to go down to third. any1 help:k10:

Unfortunatly when you say cheap you'll barely get anything, the old phrase "you get what you pay for" and that's true when it comes to cars.

Simple things like an Induction kit, bigger exhaust are classed as cheap and add a few BHP, even using premium oil helps as cars loose performance over the years so a complete oil change would help.

Good luck, plenty of K10 owners who will give some advice

go to a scrapyard and get hold of a decent 1.2 engine. shouldnt cost much more than 50 - 75 quid.

get the scrap yard to take the engine out of the scrap micra for you.

spend half a day putting the engine in your K10.

everything will swop over with no modifications,

a 1.2 k10 is a much better drive, more power and torque.

ta folks need to do something cause i just got her lowered and 2 new shock in the rear and all mot preped so looks like i'm gonna keep er for a while i think i need 2 bottom arms cause the steerin is a bit hairy but their cheap enough on ebay for £25

thats probably the most important thing to remember when modding a car of such age,

dont mod it if your not keeping it as you WILL lose money on what ever you do.
