Micra Heating Blower Broken

The heating in my friends micra no longer works, non of the settings on the dash work (1 to 4) so im unsure if its the heating resistor card. Can anyone tell me how to remove the blower/fan to check that? any help would be much appreciated.

its under the glove box on the left, undo the wiring connectors, take the air pipe off the base of the housing, undo the retaining screws and take off the bracket that holds the wiring then the motor should pull out (downwards). Oh and welcome to the club, enjoy your stay.
