The 1litre gearbox would have faster acceleration but the top speed will be reduced and fuel consumption will be increased. The 1.3 gear box is hardly sluggish and your be alot better fitting that and tunning the engine, also some people belive the 1.3 gearbox is stronger. There are some other differences in the gearboxes but ill leave that to someone else because i dont know.
