you can access the cable from the gearbox end under the airbox, you have to unscrew it and the cable pulls out, or you can access it from behind the speedo itself, remove the bubble around the dials and take the screw out etc and it clips off the back of the dials, pull it from there also, if the cables not in 2 pieces then im lost lol and the fan there are 2 wires, live and earth, i cut into the live and wired it to a switch and then back to the live again and it works great
